Stovehouse
Year Completed: In Progress
Project Size: Multiple Facilities
Architect: Centric Architecture
Location: Huntsville, Alabama
Stovehouse was originally home to the Martin Stove Factory in the early 1900s. Over the years many other manufacturers, including munitions during the war have used the building. Multiple additions were constructed through the 1970s and now the campus is located in a burgeoning creative neighborhood close to downtown. A multi-use office and entertainment district slowly started making its way to the forefront with a 2000 person concert venue anchor and the Food Garden/Play Area with food tenants and outdoor games in a garden like setting. Currently under construction with multiple phases, creative office and culinary tenants are filling up the buildings. It’s an exciting moment for these historic buildings and the city of Huntsville.
