To better serve the agricultural community in the North Alabama region, Auburn University expanded its research and education facilities near the town of Belle Mina. The Tennessee Valley Research and Extension Facility consist of offices, a multi-media conference room, laboratories and support spaces. The design of the building speaks directly to the surrounding agrarian architecture, with its corrugated metal, exposed wood, silo and dormer elements.
