Structural Design and Analysis

The process of ensuring that buildings and structures are safe, efficient, and economical while meeting applicable codes and standards. The work involves evaluating loads such as dead, live, wind, seismic, and environmental forces, then designing structural systems — including foundations, framing, and connections — that can safely resist those forces.

Load
Calculations

Load calculations are the foundation of structural engineering. They determine the types and magnitudes of forces a structure must safely resist during its lifespan. These forces include dead loads (the weight of the structure itself), live loads (people, furniture, equipment), environmental loads (wind, snow, seismic activity, rain, temperature effects), and any special loads unique to the project.

Foundation design is the process of creating the structural base that safely transfers a building’s loads into the ground. Because every site has unique soil conditions, water tables, and loading requirements, foundation design ensures that the structure remains stable, durable, and resistant to settlement or movement over time.

Construction administration is the phase of a project where the design team supports the owner and contractor during construction to ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes. It acts as the bridge between design and construction, providing oversight, communication, and problem-solving throughout the build

Retrofit and rehabilitation services focus on extending the life and improving the
performance of existing structures. Rather than demolishing and rebuilding, this process strengthens, repairs, or modernizes buildings and infrastructure to meet current safety standards, functional requirements, and building codes.

A structural engineering feasibility study evaluates the practicality of a proposed construction project by assessing site conditions, structural requirements, materials, costs, regulatory compliance, risks, and sustainability

3D Modeling & Document Production

Structural 3D Modeling: The creation of a detailed, digital 3D representation of a structure’s components (e.g., beams, columns) using software like Revit or Tekla.
